This Epiphany event also revealed the beginning of Jesus public ministry. After His baptism, Jesus began teaching, calling disciples, and proclaiming the Kingdom of God. The revelation at the Jordan marked the transition from hidden life to public mission. From this point forward, Jesus actions and words would continue to reveal who He is.
